VKMLgui - A Python GUI wrapper designed for easy deployment and functional interactions - Click for more
VKMLgui (which later became part of the VKMLlive project) started as a project by the MSEE department at Purdue. Professor Edwin Garcia commissioned the project after he found his students having difficulty making their simulations presentable and adaptable. What sets VKMLgui apart from other gui libraries is that it in a traditional gui, one must determine which way(s) to represent a variable in the program. VKMLgui is different, VKMLgui has a select set of widgets that are delimeted by the variable type you wish to use in the simulation. Also, VKMLgui will remember which variables were changed and only run the simulations that rely on the changed variable. Link

StateFarm Coding Competition - Participated and was a finalist in 2008 and 2011 with my teammate, friend and roommate Edward Raff
Binary Clock - A clock that I created with my own design that uses binary numbers to represent time - Click for more
After one of my Computer Architecture labs sophomore year, I realized I was only a couple chips short of converting my simple binary counter into a full fledged binary clock. The project took around an hour to setup and get the bugs worked out. The major problem with this clock is the precision. Since the 555 timer is not reliable enough to make a clock out of, This clock is about an hour fast every day
Student Cluster Challenge 2010 and 2011 - Click for more
I was a member of Purdue's Student Cluster Challenge for the years of 2010 and 2011. The competition is part of the Super Computing Conference. The competition is designed to test students ability to get a cluster funded and running a set of scientific software designed to strain the bestcomputers in the world. All of this must be balanced on top of 2, 13 Amp circuits.
